“My Dog will never sit still for a photo” This is the main reason I hear people give for not trying professional pet photography.
Meet Max, a 14 week old Kelpie puppy. He is an absolute ball of energy and was amazing in the studio.
A photo session indoors or outdoors is not about “sitting still”. It’s about letting your dog be themselves and don’t forget that I am catching those shots at high speed.
It’s a new environment and there are some interesting so I give our frisky model time to check it out and settle in. We also take breaks and have some fun.
Plus, there are comfy rugs, cushions and even a bed! Even dogs who are not allowed on a bed at home seem to take a secret delight in testing the studio bed.
You are there to – the most important person in their life. I hope you will be my assistant. Your dog will listen to you and be more settled with you nearby.
